Refer A Patient

This fund provides medical care to children in need of medical care, payments of the ordinary and necessary expenses of transporting patients locally or internationally, and finally payments of ordinary and necessary lodging and meals for the patients and their guardians.
 
There will be four (4) criteria that must be met prior to disbursement of the funds*:

1. The patient must meet the eligibility rules, which include;
   
   • The disease must be curable
   • The disease must not require long term follow up
   • The cost of care should not exceed what is normally allocated per patient
2. There must be an approved treatment plan.
3. Funds must be available.
4. There must be an accepting treating medical facility that is willing to provide care on charity basis.
   

As such, almost all cancer patients, chronic back pain, Neurological cases, such as Poliomyelitis or stroke, and the chronic medical (non-surgical cases) are excluded.
 
*Patients under 18 years of age, with diseases meeting the above mentioned criteria take the first priority.
